People view homosexuality as a joke, or something that isn’t idealistically existent. Countless numbers of times, I have seen my Facebook friends being “hacked” by their lifeless friends who post derogatory remarks such as: “Lol I LOVE BOYS!!! LOL I LOVE MEN!!! xDDDDDDD”. Correct me if I’m wrong, but love seems to be something to take seriously or be concerned about, not mock and criticize. These immature, cookie-cutter douche bags never take into account how annoying it is for gays to see their love being criticized. Being gay is not a type of love, it is love. Whether gay, straight, lesbian, or bisexual; love takes many forms and is universally applicable as one word. A word to homophobic conformists: How would you like people to post ‘LOL I LIKE THE OPPOSITE GENDER’ continuously on a Facebook wall? It gets quite irritating. Think about what you decide to put as a joke. Homosexuals can take a joke, but not when it’s clearly lackluster and unhumorous.
